The role

The Procurement Specialist will support the building out of a robust supply chain as we scale. This will require you to work with suppliers, to negotiate pricing based on our growing sales volumes, manage an efficient flow of components to facilitate product development and support ongoing cost-down of the product to achieve our cost of goods target. This is a great opportunity to be part of building an early-stage business. You will play a key role in leading our procurement activities as the business scales.

You will:

  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy that is aligned with our growth plans.

  • Negotiate component pricing and establish supply contracts whilst maintaining good relationships with our suppliers.

  • Identify new suppliers to source the best products in terms of value, delivery schedules, sustainable practice and quality.

  • Process purchases, monitor inventory, track usage, and adjust procurement activities according to product demand.

  • Analyse spend data and produce statistics on costs and saving opportunities.

You are:

You have:

  • A keen interest in the future of the energy sector and Net Zero.

  • Procurement experience in a related field.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Commercial and financial awareness including strong analytical abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to travel to meet with suppliers as required.

  • Experience with an industry standard ERP system.

  • A CIPS qualification.
