By joining the Road Haulage Association as associate members, Sunswap’s team is able to draw on the RHA’s depth of knowledge to better understand customer need and liaise with various industry stakeholders through the best channels.

Head of Business Development Pete Short and Technical Director Paul Allera visited Sunswap HQ in early August to get a full view of the technology and the team, and for both parties to begin working out the most engaging events and forms of content for communicating Sunswap’s product capabilities.

Just as Sunswap’s Transport Refrigeration Unit was designed to resemble traditional TRU despite new technology within, it’s important to the commercial team that their approach is similarly recognisable to those that have worked in haulage, logistics and distribution for decades. Collaborating with organisations like the RHA can aid this, and thereby minimise the barriers to introducing sustainable technology.

Through their membership, Sunswap can also give back to the industry by supporting key lobbying and awareness campaigns, raised by the RHA to improve things like working conditions and infrastructure.

Keep up to date with the RHA by following them on Twitter: @RHANews, and be sure to check out @SunswapLtd too!
