We are looking for...

Chief Financial Officer

As our CFO you will report directly to the CEO and will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy and direction as one of the leaders of the business. You will be responsible for a whole range of activities from establishing and managing all finance-related business processes and controls to owning and developing the financial strategy, forecasts and budget. We have raised £4.7m to date and are starting to prepare for our next fundraise, to complete in 2023 - the CFO will be expected to play a leading role in this process.

We are still a relatively small business, so in the short term the role may require you to take on a variety of other responsibilities. We expect that by the end of 2022 you will be focused full-time on the more traditional duties of a CFO.

Finance

Procurement Specialist 

The Procurement Specialist will support the building out of a robust supply chain as we scale. This will require you to work with suppliers, to negotiate pricing based on our growing sales volumes, manage an efficient flow of components to facilitate product development and support ongoing cost-down of the product to achieve our cost of goods target. This is a great opportunity to be part of building an early-stage business. You will play a key role in leading our procurement activities as the business scales.

R&D Facility Manager

The R&D Facility Manager will work closely with the engineering team and undertake activities ranging from supporting prototype system build, managing workshop processes and leading a team of technicians. You will be onsite daily and be hands-on with the TRU build program. This is a great opportunity to be part of building an early-stage business. You will play a key role in the development of the Sunswap product range.

R&D Technician

The R&D Technician will work closely with the engineering team and undertake activities from the initial system build through to completion, including modifications such as fabricated brackets, modifying refrigerant pipework, electrical wiring and maintenance. You will be onsite daily and be hands-on with the TRU build program. This is a great opportunity to be part of building an early-stage business. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the definition, design, testing and delivery of the innovative systems behind Sunswap’s core technology. Lead Software Engineer

As Lead Software Engineer, your day-to-day work will be a mixture of hands-on work delivering the cloud architecture as well as managing the overall project, collaborating with subcontractors and consultants. Sunswap is experiencing exponential growth meaning there will be ample space to grow within the team with more exciting challenges in the future.

Lead Embedded Software Engineer

The Lead Embedded Software Engineer will take a Lead role in Sunswap’s System Engineering Team. You will be deploying and managing embedded software and innovative algorithms on state-of-the art hardware while ensuring adherence to automotive software standards. You will help junior software engineers develop their technical skills and be the leading expert within the area in the company.

Senior Design Engineer

The Senior Design Engineer will lead the development of the core Sunswap technology and undertake activities from concepting through to detailed design, system integration, build and certification. The Quality Engineer will work with our engineering team and partners to ensure the production units of the Sunswap TRU meet the required quality standards. This role will be directly responsible for the functionality and quality of the products that are delivered into our customers hands. The Engineering Intern will provide support to the engineering team to design, build and test Sunswap’s zero emission technology. You will undertake activities throughout the product development cycle.
