Key metrics from Sunswap's trial with DFDS

Our inaugural set of trials were with our first customers; international shipping and logistics giant DFDS, which ran in the spring and the autumn of 2022.

The earliest iteration of Endurance performed well, fulfilling all delivery cycles, which were predominantly those with frozen setpoints. Since then, the maximum battery capacity has increased by around 50%, while the charging speed has increased too, with fast and superfast charging now available. On top of this, the battery's energy efficiency has improved through various enhancements.

Matt O’Dell, UK Managing Director of Cold Chain at DFDS Logistics Services, commented on the trial:
